Lake Anne Village Center Commercial Reinvestment Plan

Working with and on behalf of the owners and operators of Lake Anne Village Center's (LAVC) non-residential uses, the OCRR contracted with Alvarez and Marsal Real Estate Advisory Services, LLC (A&M), who augmented its wide ranging real estate knowledge with that of The Eisen Group (TEG), which specializes in retail and mixed-use real estate, to develop a Commercial Reinvestment Plan (CRP) for the LAVC. The CRP includes an assessment of the current conditions affecting the non-residential uses in the LAVC, and provides recommendations that can be pursued to stabilize and sustain current establishments and attract viable and complementary new non-residential establishments to the LAVC. A&M/TEG will present their findings and recommendations at a public meeting, at a date and time to be announced shortly.

Lake Anne Village Center Commercial Reinvestment Plan Presentation, September 8, 2010

On Wednesday, September 8, 2010 Hunter Mill District Supervisor Catherine M. Hudgins, and the Fairfax County Office of Community Revitalization and Reinvestment (OCRR) held a Lake Anne Village Center (LAVC) Short and Long Term Commercial Reinvestment Plan Public Workshop which was designed to assist the commercial property and business-owners in identifying strategic opportunities to stabilize and sustain current establishments and to attract viable and complementary new non-residential uses to the LAVC. The County has engaged Alvarez and Marsal Real Estate Advisory Services, LLC and The Eisen Group (A&M/TEG) to assess current conditions affecting the LAVC, and develop short and long term concepts aimed at strengthening the long term economic viability of the LAVC non-residential uses. At the Public Workshop, the consultants discussed their findings, presented potential strategies and actions, and solicited feedback.
